Our Story
LeakInspections.ca was founded in 1999 as a division of Anyleak.ca and Leak.ca, bringing together decades of combined experience in leak detection, building science, and property management. What started as a small Vancouver-based operation has grown into BC's most comprehensive leak detection network, serving over 75 communities across the province.
Our mission is simple: find the leak without destroying the property. We believe that no property owner should have to choose between finding a hidden leak and damaging their home. Our non-invasive detection methods provide the answers property owners need without the demolition that traditional leak finding requires.
Over the past 25+ years, we have inspected over 10,000 properties — from single-family homes and strata buildings to industrial facilities and municipal water systems. Alex Sedighi
Founder & Lead Leak Detection Specialist
Alex Sedighi founded LeakInspections.ca in 1999 with a vision to bring professional, non-invasive leak detection to British Columbia. With over 25 years of field experience across more than 10,000 properties, Alex has established the standard for leak detection in BC. He has provided expert testimony in BC Supreme Court and CRT proceedings and has consulted with municipalities on water loss management programs. Alex holds multiple industry certifications and is recognized as one of BC's foremost authorities on water leak detection and building envelope diagnostics.

Michael Chen
Senior Detection Technician
Michael brings 15 years of specialized experience in municipal water main leak detection and acoustic correlation. He leads our municipal water loss programs and has conducted surveys for over 20 BC municipalities. Michael's expertise in leak noise correlation and DMA analysis has helped BC communities save millions of litres of water annually.

Sarah Thompson
Building Envelope Specialist
Sarah specializes in building envelope diagnostics and moisture mapping for BC strata properties. With a background in building science, she brings technical depth to every envelope investigation. Sarah has conducted over 500 strata building envelope assessments and is experienced with all major cladding systems found in BC.

GPR & Utility Locating Manager
James leads our ground-penetrating radar and utility locating division. His expertise in concrete scanning and subsurface imaging has prevented countless utility strikes on BC construction projects. James manages our SUE services and ensures all utility locates meet ASCE 38-22 standards.
